OPTIMIZATION GASTRIC DAMAGE IN MULTIPLE AND COMBINED ABDOMINAL TRAUMA

Abstract

Abdominal trauma is one of the most severe types of injuries. Among severe injuries in peacetime, abdominal injuries account for 25%. The share ofpost-traumatic ruptures of the stomach accounts for 1% of injuries of the abdominal organs with an isolated abdominal injury and up to 6% with a combined one. These injuries are classified as severe, as they are accompanied by a lethality of up to 72%. High mortality is due mainly to the multiplicity and severity of injuries to the abdominal organs, as well as other anatomical areas.
