Abstract
The relevance of differential diagnosis and treatment of primary and secondary headaches remains an important problem for doctors of various specialties. Migraine is a maladaptive disease, which necessitates further study of new pathogenetic mechanisms, improvement of symptomatic treatment of migraine, as well as the development of more effective non-drug and drug methods for the prevention of migraine attacks. It is important to determine predictors of the development of chronic migraine, which will prevent the transformation of episodic migraine into a chronic form. A team of authors conducted a study to assess the degree of cerebral circulatory impairment in patients suffering from chronic migraine. The results of the study make it possible to improve the diagnosis of both chronic and episodic migraine, clarify the pathogenetic mechanisms of the formation of migraine attacks and prevent transformation into chronic migraine. Practical recommendations have been developed to improve the effectiveness of symptomatic and preventive treatment, which improves the quality of life of patients. This article will be useful to doctors - neurologists, algologists, cephalologists , therapists, functional and radiation diagnostics doctors and doctors of other specialties, both beginners and those with experience.
